The collateral of your brand is often the first impression of your products and/or services and it’s really important. Typical brand collateral materials include business cards, website, corporate brochure, banners, stationery items-envelopes, letterheads, etc. Brand collateral also includes digital assets like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter wallpapers, websites and campaign sites, mobile apps, etc.

Here are some tips to help you create more impactful brand collaterals:

  1. Be consistent: Logos, fonts, graphics, images, colors, everything should be consistent across all social media platforms from Linkedin to Website, Instagram to blog posts, etc
  2. Quality: Just delivering quality based products and/or services to your customers is not enough. Your quality should reflect in the type of stationery your brand provides, the paper used for your business cards, the time taken to load your website etc.
  3. Revise and re-evaluate: Revise your current brand collaterals and check if they are up-to-date
  4. Less is more: Be creative and to the point. Don’t overwhelm your audience with too much information
